I've been slacking on this whole blog thing. I will continue to blubber about music. If your looking for cool music, something decent to listen to, check out 97X from Cincinnati. I have no doubt this is the coolest non-college radio station I have ever heard. When So many radio station call themselves "modern rock" and still play creed and nickleback, it's great to see a station that actually plays cutting edge music, from all genres of music. I've already heard a whack of new music and interesting bands. As well, they display the current playlist, so you can checkout what you just heard.. Very Exellent.

January was looking pretty scary at first with the post-xmas glut of new music. However with a little help from a few classic, a visit to pitchfork and a couple hours of listing to 97x I was able to compile a pretty fun CD.
